Three Persons Die After Trailer Crushes Car in Trelawny

A horrific accident claimed the lives of three persons in Trelawny on Tuesday night.

Shortly before 11 pm, the driver of a grey Mitsubishi Cedia motor car was travelling on a section of the Northern Coastal Highway in the vicinity of Rock in the parish with two passengers aboard when the vehicle collided with a trailer truck.

All three occupants of the motor reportedly died at the scene of the crash, while the driver of the trailer truck escaped with minor injuries.

According to the Observer, persons killed have been identified as 41-year-old Dwight Sutton of Tilson in Bounty Hall, 23-year-old Janice Brown of Warsop and 20-year-old Keno Williams of Clarks Town, all in Trelawny.

  

The Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported that on reaching a section of the bypass, the vehicle reportedly collided with a tractor heading the opposite direction.  

The driver of the trailer was also taken to hospital where he was admitted.
