Several bullet holes are now visible in a wall and  window at the Morgan Bridge Police station Westmoreland.

This after the station reportedly came under gunfire only days before the expected visit of newly appointed security minister Robert Montague in Westmoreland for a town hall meeting.

According to Irie FM, reports are that shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday morning, a man who has been now been detained, stormed into the guardroom and said he was there to make a complaint.

It is understood that while the man was making the complaint, several gunshots were heard being fired in the station yard.

One police officer sustained minor injuries during the frightening incident.

After the gunshots ceased, the impressions of bullets could be seen in a wall and a window at the station.
