Homeless People Upset as they are Removed From New Kingston Ahead of Obama’s Visit

Authorities have reportedly ramped up their programme to remove homeless persons in New Kingston and its environs and these actions have angered some  of them.

Anthony Brown, a homeless man who is normally seen in the New Kingston vicinity stated the following according to a report by the Observer

“Over the past 24 hours is about seven of us them take off the road, some them bring up to Bellevue Hospital others they bring to the shelter. Some of us them move off the road carry them up a Bellevue give injection. Others get new clothes and haircut “.

As the authorities heighten their efforts to rid the streets of the homeless, Brown and other homeless individuals have expressed their anger.

  

“Me vex, instead a spend so much money to fix up roads them could a spend it to take care a we much better,” said Brown.
