16 Persons Seriously Injured in Trelawny Accident

There has been an uptick in the number of serious accidents occurring on the streets of Jamaica since the start of the year.

A horrific accident along the North Coast Highway near Duncans in Trelawny yesterday afternoon has left at least 16 persons injured.

According to Irie FM, a Toyota coaster bus reportedly carrying a group of persons overturned along the roadway in Carey Park.

A correspondent from the radio station on the scene also confirmed that the arms of three passengers were detached.

The injured individuals were rushed to the Falmouth hospital.

The Duncans police are currently investigating the incident.
