Warner Brown Joins Mount Pleasant Ahead of Caribbean Cup Clash

Mount Pleasant FA, last season’s Jamaica Premier League runners-up, are bolstering their squad for next month’s start of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup.

Adding firepower up front, the St Ann-based club has signed former Arnett Gardens striker Warner Brown, who netted 22 goals to top the scoring charts last season.

Since making his senior debut earlier this year, Brown has represented the Reggae Boyz 10 times and found the back of the net on four occasions.

The prolific forward’s short-term contract runs until year-end, as he prepares for an overseas move to Belgium.

The attacking addition joins a growing list of new faces at Mount Pleasant, including Daniel St Fleur and Rapha Intervil from Real Hope in Haiti, Racing’s Renaldo Biggs, and Kemar Foster from Waterhouse.

On the flip side, the team is set to lose key players, with goalkeeper Shaquan Davis also bound for Belgium in the coming weeks.

Kicking off their Caribbean Cup campaign, Mount Pleasant will face Suriname’s SV Robinhood at 7pm on August 19 inside the National Stadium.
