Jamaica Drawn in All-Caribbean Group for Final Round of World Cup Qualifiers

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz now know the road ahead as they seek to return to the FIFA World Cup™ for the first time since 1998, following the official draw for the final round of Concacaf qualifiers for the 2026 tournament.

The Reggae Boyz have been placed in Group B alongside familiar Caribbean rivals Curaçao, Trinidad and Tobago, and Bermuda.

It’s the only all-Caribbean group of the final stage, setting the stage for six intense regional showdowns between September and November 2025.

The final round features 12 teams—six group winners and six runners-up from the recently concluded second round—split into three groups of four.

Each team will play six matches (three at home, three away), with the top team in each group qualifying automatically for the FIFA World Cup 26™.

In addition to the three group winners, the two best second-place finishers across the groups will move on to the FIFA Play-Off Tournament, offering another shot at qualification.

Group A includes Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Suriname, while Group C brings together Costa Rica, Honduras, Haiti, and Nicaragua.

Notably, clashes such as Costa Rica vs Honduras and Panama vs El Salvador have already drawn attention as marquee fixtures.

With hosts Canada, Mexico, and the United States already qualified, Concacaf could send as many as eight teams to the expanded World Cup.

Jamaica, coming off a strong second-round performance, will look to maintain momentum in this final push. With players gaining experience in top leagues and a growing sense of belief among supporters, the nation is eyeing a return to football’s biggest stage.

Fixtures will be played during the September, October, and November international windows in 2025.
