Jamaica were held to a goalless draw by a 10-man Cuba in their Group B, League A Concacaf Nations League match at the National Stadium last night.

Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, the Reggae Boyz were unable to break the deadlock, with Cuba’s goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena making several outstanding saves in the second half.

Cuba were reduced to 10 men just before the halftime break when Yunior Perez was sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

However, despite their numerical advantage, Jamaica could not find the back of the net.

Nicaragua currently top the group with three points after defeating French Guiana 1-0.

Jamaica and Cuba are tied for second place with one point each.

Last night Honduras beat Trinidad and Tobago by 4 goals to nil.

Jamaica’s next match will be against Honduras on Tuesday, with the Reggae Boyz travelling to play in Honduras.
