JFF Relieves John Wall of Under-20 Coaching Duties

Assistant Reggae Boyz coach, John Wall, has been relieved of his duties as the national under-20 coach, the Jamaica Football Federation has confirmed.

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has announced that Wall, who guided the young reggae boys to victory in the Concacaf qualifiers held in St. Kitts last month, securing their spot in the Concacaf Championships, has been recalled to focus on supporting coach Heimer Hallgrimsson in preparing the senior men’s national team for upcoming competitions.

These competitions include the Concacaf Nations League, the Copa America Championship, and the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Despite this, Wall will maintain his role as the FIFA Talent Development Scheme Manager for Jamaica.

Jerome Waite, an experienced figure, will take over Wall’s position and will be tasked with coaching the national under-20 team in the upcoming Concacaf Championships in Mexico, scheduled from July 19 to August 4.
