Fraser McConnell Secures Podium Finish and Second Place in Nitrocross Series, Looks Ahead to 2024/25 Season

Jamaican racecar driver Fraser McConnell wrapped up another successful season in the Nitrocross Series, securing yet another podium finish as the 2023-2024 season concluded over the weekend.

Ending the season with a commendable second place in the drivers’ standings, McConnell finished just behind the Swedish driver Robin Larsson, who clinched his second consecutive title in the third season of the event.

McConnell amassed a total of 454 points throughout the season, an improvement from his third-place finish in the previous season, while Larsson claimed the championship with 502 points.

McConnell kicked off the season with a decisive victory in Oklahoma on June 16, setting a high bar for the competitions to follow.

Despite encountering mechanical issues that hindered his performance in rounds two and three in Utah during August, McConnell persevered throughout the season.

Looking ahead, McConnell is gearing up for another thrilling season of sprint racing in 2024/25 as Dreyer & Reinbold Racing confirms the extension of his contract for another year.

The anticipation for the fourth season of Nitrocross builds as it kicks off on September 7 and 8 with rounds one and two scheduled for a new venue, Richmond Raceway, located in Virginia.
