US$350 Million Luxury Resort ‘The Pinnacle’ Set to Rise in Montego Bay

Prime Minister Andrew Holness recently celebrated the unveiling of “The Pinnacle,” a monumental $350-million luxury residential project in Montego Bay.

Described as a game changer, the development promises to bring a new era of real estate development to Jamaica’s tourism industry.

The Pinnacle will be constructed over a four year period.

Prime Minister Holness, impressed by the avant-garde project, praised LCH Developments for setting new standards in quality and innovation.

“What I have seen displayed here today, quite clearly, is that you have set a new bar for quality and you have aptly described it as The Pinnacle,” remarked Holness during the project’s launch on Saturday.

The resort, featuring 423 residential apartments, 15 private villas, a marina, and an exclusive private club, is anticipated to diversify Jamaica’s tourism product and make a significant mark in the lifestyle segment of the hospitality market.

Jamaican architect Isiaa Madden, renowned for her creative brilliance, has seamlessly blended artistic design and functional elegance in The Pinnacle, ensuring that every architectural detail enhances the overall living experience.

Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett welcomed the development, emphasising its novelty to the Caribbean and its potential to cater to the evolving preferences of millennials.

“We are taking it now to another dimension with this kind of density that is approaching from a 28-storey building with a mix of business models, which is the new model of the period as tourism tries to balance short-term to long-term residency with the important elements of supply. I think nowhere else in the Caribbean has this model,” commented Minister Bartlett.

CEO of LCH Developments, Yangsen Li, assured that the project would prioritise environmental preservation.

Li stated, “We are committed to balancing this development with preservation in terms of nature. Our project isn’t just about construction; it is a promise to honor and preserve the natural beauty that brought us here in the first place.”
