Shaw Scores ANOTHER Hat-Trick As Manchester City Whip Liverpool 5-1

Reggae Girl Khadija Shaw scored a magnificent hat-trick, guiding Manchester City to a dominant victory over Liverpool in the Women’s Super League on Sunday.

The win places City just three points behind league leaders Chelsea.

The action-packed match kicked off with Taylor Hinds stunning the crowd with an audacious finish from outside the area, catching goalkeeper Khiara Keating off guard.

However, City quickly responded as Gemma Bonner turned the ball into her own net under pressure from the relentless Shaw, leveling the score just three minutes later.

In the 32nd minute Shaw dispossessed Fuka Nagano and calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, putting Gareth Taylor’s side in the lead.

The Jamaican international wasn’t finished, as she rose above the defense just before halftime to head home a cross from Laura Coombs, extending City’s advantage.

The second half saw Shaw complete her third hat-trick in her last four Women’s Super League games.

Although her initial effort was saved, a cheeky backheel found its way over the line, leaving Liverpool helpless in their attempt to clear.

City’s commanding performance was sealed with a penalty in the 78th minute, controversially awarded for a foul on Lauren Hemp, with Chloe Kelly calmly slotting the ball into the bottom right corner.

While the victory propelled Manchester City to second place, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference, it wasn’t without its challenges.

Defender Kerstin Casparij had to be substituted after just eight minutes due to an injury sustained in a collision with Missy Bo Kearns.
