Jamaican Sensation Alex Powell Secures Pole in F4 UAE Championship

Jamaican racing sensation Alex Powell has secured pole position in the first race of the F4 United Arab Emirates Championship.

Hailing from a family deeply entrenched in motorsports, young Powell, who joined the ranks of Formula One at the tender age of 11, is the son of Jamaican rally driver John Powell and cousin to Olympic athlete Asafa Powell.

He displayed sheer brilliance during the qualifying rounds, claiming the top spot in q1.

The F4 United Arab Emirates Championship, hosted at the YAS Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, will witness Powell competing for the Italian outfit ‘Prema Racing’ under the Mumbai Falcons Racing banner.

Despite being in his debut season, Powell showcased his talent by not only securing pole position but also qualifying an impressive fourth in q2.

Anticipation is high as Powell gears up for an exhilarating race weekend, which kicks off today and concludes on Sunday.
