In an exciting development for sun-seeking travellers, Canadian leisure carrier WestJet is enhancing its flight offerings to Jamaica.

The airline has unveiled plans to introduce a new route to the land of wood and water, further solidifying its commitment to providing Canadians with affordable and convenient travel options to popular tropical destinations.

This new route will serve the eagerly anticipated connection between Edmonton, Canada, and the picturesque Montego Bay with service set to begin on November 12.

Montego Bay has long been a coveted destination for vacationers.

By bridging the gap between Edmonton and Montego Bay, the airline is facilitating seamless access to Jamaican adventures, allowing travellers to escape the chill of winter and bask in the Caribbean sun.

WestJet is also spreading its wings to the Dutch Caribbean, inaugurating a new route from Toronto to the captivating island of Bonaire.

According to John Weatherill, the WestJet Group’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer:

“This year’s winter schedule is about providing Canadians with what they want: affordable sun destination getaways from across Canada.”
