Dancehall Entertainer Tommy Lee Sparta Released From Prison
Popular dancehall entertainer Tommy was released from the Horizon Adult Remand Centre on Thursday morning.
The artiste served a sentence of at least two years and three months after being convicted of gun possession in 2021.
The artist was sentenced in March 2021 to five years in prison for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, to which he pleaded guilty.
The sentences for both offences were to be served concurrently, resulting in a three-year prison term.
In December 2020, Tommy Lee was arrested on Holborn Road in New Kingston after being found with a firearm by members of the police SWAT division.
