Sharp Rise In COVID-19 Infections In Jamaica!
There has been a significant rise in confirmed daily cases of COVID-19 across the island.
This as Jamaica registered a 30 per cent infection rate on Friday.
According to The Ministry of Health & Wellness, there were 336 confirmed cases from 3,082 samples tested on Friday.
There are currently 1,892 active cases of the virus being monitored across the country.
Sixty-seven patients are currently in a hospital, two of them deemed critically ill.
Four more deaths from the virus have increased the tally to 2,999.
Three of those fatalities occurred last year.
The other death was in January this year.
