Shenseea Giving Away Over 100 Tablets To Students

 Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea recently voiced concern for Jamaican students who currently have no access to online learning.

Shenseea revealed via an Instagram post that she will be donating over 100 tablets to aid children in need of the devices to participate.

“This is something that has been bothering me since the lockdown, especially since I’m a single mom.

“I can only imagine what some parents are going through so I’m giving away over 100 tablets to support your child that have difficulty gaining access to participate in online schooling.”

Tthe Ministry of Education and the Jamaica Teachers association (JTA) both estimate that hundreds of thousands of students do not have access to devices such as a tablet, laptop or smart phone that would enable them to continue their education online.
