Four-Yr-Old Dies After Testing Positive For Coronavirus
Yesterday, Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Christopher Tufton revealed that a four year old died after contracting the novel coronavirus.
Via a social media statement, Dr Tufton said:
“It is with a heavy heart, that we inform the nation of the death of a 4 year old, who was tested positive for Covid19 and has died at Cornwall Regional Hospital.
“We express our sincerest condolences to the family.”
The gender of the child was not revealed.
The child is the seventh person to die from the deadly diseases in Jamaica.
Currently there are 257 confirmed cases in Jamaica.
