All Schools To Be Closed In Jamaica For 14 Days Amid Coronavirus Fears
A short while ago Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced that as of Friday, March 13, all schools in Jamaica will be officially closed.
The period of closure is 14 days.
His announcement comes amid mounting fears regarding the novel coronavirus that continues to kill persons in countries across the globe.
While speaking at a press conference, the PM said a broad group of advisers has been assembled to ensure that the right economic decisions are made and noted that the decision to close schools will be reviewed after a period of 10 days.
