During my recent visit to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, I presented a donation from the Positive Jamaica Foundation to the management team to purchase some multi-functional monitors. My visit allowed me to see firsthand the situation that exists at the hospital. I want to commend the hospital staff for their committed services during this festive season; I encourage you to continue providing excellent service to the patients.

Via the release, Holness said:

“It is always difficult when anyone has to be admitted to hospital, but it is especially heartbreaking during the Christmas season which is a time for families to get together.

“For this reason, I make it a custom to visit those who are sick and vulnerable to bring cheer during the Yuletide season,”

Following his visit, Prime Minister Holness stated that the hospital will be getting a purpose-built pharmacy, one that will be more modern, and will help to deliver more efficient services.
