Reggae Boy Wes Morgan Labeled a Traitor
Jamaica international and Leicester City captain Wes Morgan was recently greeted with an outpouring of scathing remarks after he opted to thank Leicester’s recently sacked coach Claudio Ranieri.
Morgan used his Twitter account account to thank Ranieri for realising the impossible in leading the club to the British Premier League title, and wished the Italian coach well in his future endeavours.
However, his tweet was not well received by many as reports from various media outlets suggested Morgan was one of four players who spoke to club chairman and director of football, John Rudkin, as the Leicester’s poor run of form persisted this season.
The burly defender has since been accused of being a traitor and a hypocrite.
Ranieri was fired last week, a mere nine months after guiding the club to the most improbable title triumph in Premier League history.
