US Vice President Mike Pence Hopes to Visit Jamaica

Vice-President  of the United States Mike Pence recently expressed his admiration for Jamaica and its people and stated that he is desirous of visiting the island one day.

Pence reportedly spoke with Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States Audrey Marks last week at the Chairman’s Global Dinner and Diplomatic Ball in honour of Pence and the then President Elect Donald Trump.

She represented the Government and people of Jamaica at the inauguration ceremony of the President and Vice President  of the United States on Friday -January 20.

Pence is now the 48th Vice President of the United States.

  

He previously served as Governor of the US state of Indiana from 2013 to 2017.
