Jamaican Footballer – Leon Bailey is on Fire!
Jamaican youngster Leon Bailey has been named in the UEFA Europa league team of the week following an incredible performance against Rapid Vienna.
On a weekly basis, UEFA.com selects a best XI based on the first round of UEFA Europa League group stage games.
On Thursday, (September 15) Bailey scored two goals for his Belgian club Genk which included a scorching 25 yard stunner.
The 19-year-old’s efforts were not enough to help the visiting Genk win the match as the game ended with a 3-2 scoreline in favour of Vienna.
Bailey is the 2015 Belgian young player of the year, and has caught the attention of several high profile club’s in recent times, including Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, English Premier League Club Chelsea, and German team Borussia Dortmund.
