Rio Games Schedule For Jamaica – August 12
There is little dispute regarding which sport generates the most interest at Olympic Games.
No other sport can really compete with track and field in this regard.
Today – (Friday – Aug 12) marks the beginning of the track and field events at the 2016 in Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Some of the Jamaican athletes who will be in action today include Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson, and Christania Williams.
Bolt will grace the track on Saturday (Aug 13) as the men’s 100-metre participants make their entrance in Rio.
