Bolt Back On the Race Track Following Withdrawal From Olympic Trials
Usain Bolt, the man considered to be the world’s most naturally gifted athlete undoubtedly made hearts flutter across the world when he pulled out of Jamaica’s Olympic trials due to a hamstring injury earlier this month.
He applied for a medical exemption just before his scheduled run in the men’s 100-metre final.
Bolt must now showcase his fitness for the Rio show-piece after missing his trials and will have an opportunity to do just that on July 22.
Bolt journeyed to Europe earlier this week to see the renowned German doctor Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt as he seeks to speed up his recuperation.
In a video posted on the British Athletics Facebook page, a seemingly confident Bolt stated: ‘Come out and watch me at the London Anniversary Games on Friday, July 22.
