‘I have a very, very big bat’ Journalist Claims Chris Gayle Made Sexually Suggestive Comments to Her

Chris Gayle is once again dominating the media for comments he reportedly made to a journalist.

Earlier this year the West Indies star batsman sparked global controversy after he asked then-Network Ten reporter Mel McLaughlin out for a drink on live TV.

During a live interview, Gayle stated:

“I wanted to come and have an interview with you as well … That’s the reason why I’m here, just to see your eyes for the first time.”

“Hopefully we can win this game and have a drink after. Don’t blush baby.” His utterances resulted in him being fined $10,000.

Last month Gayle announced the arrival of his first child, a baby girl named Blush.

Now Charlotte Edwardes, a journalist for The Times Magazine, a London based publication is claiming the prolific cricketer made sexually suggestive comments to her during an interview.

According to an article published by The Times, Gayle asks Edwardes how many black men she has ‘had’ and wants to know if she has ever had a threesome. ‘I bet you have. Tell me,’ he reportedly stated.

Edwardes also claims that Gayle made comments about whether she dyes her hair, while lowering his eyes downwards.

According to the article, during the interview, Gayle claims to have “a very, very big bat, the biggest in the wooorld,” before adding: “You think you could lift it? You’d need two hands.”

Gayle also reportedly stated 10,000 women threw themselves at him because of the fact he was “damn good-looking”.

“I haven’t had a shag since I been here,” he reportedly said of his time playing in the IPL.

When asked if he threw himself at women, he reportedly sighed stating: “Your questions, you suck me dry.”

Following the interview, Edwardes said: “Others can decide whether his remarks were appropriate. If I’d been offended, I would have said so in The Times. By the way, he made me laugh.
