Building Collapses at Negril Hotel Construction Site, Two Workers Missing

A large section of the Royalton Hotel construction site in Negril, Westmoreland collapsed this morning (May 10).

Following the collapse, five injured workers were reportedly taken to hospital for treatment.

One of the injured workers is reportedly in critical condition.

The horrifying incident occurred at approximately 6 am as men were pouring concrete on a section of the site.

Two construction workers are reportedly still missing. The Royalton Hotel is being established on the property which is the former Grand Lido Hotel, and is undergoing major reconstruction.
