Jamaica Ranks As the 7th Most Entrepreneurial Country in the World
With 11.9% of Jamaicans being self employed according to a recent report, the island has ranked as the 7th most entrepreneurial country in the world.
In some countries where opportunities are not readily available, it becomes more of a necessity for persons to create their own.
Many persons also love the idea of not having a boss and being able to choose their hours of work.
TheUK-based business-networking group Approved Index, compiled a list of countries with the most entrepreneurship by calculating the percentage of the adult population that owns or jointly owns a new business and has paid salaries or wages for at least three months.

It gives me a feelings of joy to hear stories like these and it makes me wonder when we as Jamaicans will realize how great we are and come together and put ourselves back on the map as number one economically because we were blessed to be great.
