Jamaican Singer Omi Sells Over 1 Million Copies!
Jamaican singer Omi is now one of seven Jamaicans to have a song or album sell over one million copies in the United States.
His song ‘Cheerleader’ has proven to be an incredibly huge hit and currently sits at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
Wiz Khalifa still holds the number one spot with ‘See You Again’ which features Charlie Puth.
The single is also number on the Digital Songs Chart having already sold over 170,000 downloads bringing its total sales to a little over 1.1 million.
Other Jamaicans who have enjoyed a million sales in the US include Shaggy, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Sean Paul, Ini Kamoze, Inner Circle and Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers.
