This Jamaican Woman is a Champion Sprinter at Age 76! (Video)
Rose Green is now a senior citizen but she certainly is not letting age slow her down.
This 76 year old Jamaican has won medals in 200 and 400m events and is currently the 60-metre record holder in America.
Rose began sprinting only last year and already she is regarded as one of the best in her age group.
“She’s world class,” said her coach, Cortez Austin.
Rose and Austin train seven days per week and are also lovers.
Her life as a sprinter began after an older man said to her:
‘You are a Jamaican. You were born to sprint. Why don’t you go ahead and do the sprints?’”
She certainly has Jamaican blood surging through her veins.
