Richie B Leaves Mello FM
Richard Burgess popularly known as ‘Richie B’ is no longer presenting at Mello FM.
The broadcaster yesterday confirmed previous reports that he is departing the radio station via a press release.
“Without going into too much detail, a particular benefit that was included in my original contract, was being removed, I thought, unjustifiably, and that led to the stalemate,” Richie B said.
He also stated “I wish to thank the management and staff with whom I worked, for the leverage and latitude that I was given to present in what was a new slot for me and for their help in making the programme as successful as it turned out to be.”
The broadcaster says he will be investing more of his attention on his new wholesale liquor centre in Kingston, but is not yet ready to close his chapter on radio as a broadcaster.
