A touch of nature in Point Hill St. Catherine
Jamaica has many places that are filled with natural beauty.
Point Hill is no exception.
The small community is located in St. Catherine Jamaica and hosts a little over 5000 inhabitants.
This scene was photographed there and being a landscape artist, I felt compelled to paint it.
What you see below is the result of 6 sleepless nights of painting.

Lovely, I was born there
JUST awesome love it love it, have some family there also… makes a change to what we see in mainstream media , White sandy beaches or rusty zinc fence inner city slums. need more of this kind of exposure, makes you want to find a way of saving our dying country and get rid of the fool fool people killing our true Jamaican roots and culture. Poverty is a curable disease, not a way of life. One Love my fellow true patriotic Jamaicans….

You’ve done a masterpiece. Worth the six sleepless nights. Stop sleeping and keep painting.
For some reason, painting at night instead of sleeping so often yields amazing results. Love the reflection on the water.
