Dancehall Entertainer Alkaline Donates $200,000 to Cancer Patients!

Popular Jamaican entertainer Alkaline has done an act of kindness many privileged individuals might not be willing to emulate.

He has made a sizable donation of $200,000 Jamaican dollars to two patients suffering from cancer.

The dancehall deejay who was made aware of the ladies’ situation through his management team, made the cash donation to the two women to offset their medical costs and treatment.

In a press release submitted to Irie FM’s music news, Alkaline said he assisted the ladies as a way of testing himself.

The deejay also stated that he wanted to understand what it would feel like to do some good for others.

Alkaline is currently in Panama for a performance later this evening.

The controversial deejay has received a lot of flak in recent times for his use of indecent lyrics and for allegedly tattooing his eyeballs.

He is deemed by many as a negative influence to the Jamaican youth in particular but we can only applaud him for this noble deed and hope that others who are able will follow suit.
