Three children die in Negril fire
Three children died tragically in a fire today in Westmoreland.
According to a report by Irie FM, the children have been identified as 14 year old Brittany Boning, 11 year old Beyonce Leslie and their cousin 8 year old Xavier Mckenzie.
The girls are also related.
Reports are that about 6: 30 this morning, residents who were alerted to the fire, called the fire services.
Fire fighters who arrived on the scene, say they saw the board and concrete house engulfed in flames.
Residents on the scene, told them children were in the building.
A search of the burnt out building, led to the discovery of the bodies of the three children in a bathtub in the bathroom which was made of concrete.
Fire fighters say it appears they died from smoke inhalation as their bodies were not burnt.
Xavier was in West End for the summer holiday.
Senior Deputy Superintendent of the Jamaica Fire Brigade Morine Samson says fire investigators; do not know what caused the fire.
She says they need to interview the 2 surviving adults from the household.
They reportedly left the house shortly before the fire started.
