‘The Beast’ storms to victory in Manchester! (Video)

Former world 100 meters champion and Jamaica’s “BEAST” Yohan Blake made a winning return in his first run in England since the London 2012 Olympics.

This after running to victory over 150m at the Great City Games in Manchester today winning in a time of 14.71 seconds.

He fell short of Usain Bolt’s record of 14.35 seconds as fellow Jamaican Kemar Bailey Cole finished second in 15 seconds flat.

Chris Brown of the Bahamas was third in 15.10 while Mark Lewis Francis of Great Britain clocked 15.22 seconds for fourth.

  

The Great City Games Manchester took place on an I-Double-A-F  certified all purpose track built on Deansgate and at a pop-up athletics arena in Albert Square in the city centre.
