Featured – St. Thomas Brings Fresh to You

Country comes to town tomorrow, giving you the chance to stock up on fresh food right in New Kingston.

The Ujima All Natural Market will be keeping its third installment this Thursday, February 27th.

Ujima is a collective of all organic farmers, mostly from St. Thomas who have teamed up to bring the farmers’ market concept to those in urban areas who tend to miss out on the luxury of getting to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and general provisions and who usually rely on the convenience of grocery stores.

Specialty Products and Eco-art is also available to compliment this holistic, environmentally-friendly experience.

Not Just  a Regular Shopping Experience

Apart from the visual stimulation triggered by lush fruits and vegetables on sale as well as the overall farm freshness, the Ujima All Natural Market boosts your experience with conscious entertainment. The first staging of the market, held on January 30, 2014, boasted performances through poetry and music from artistes: Lee Tafari, Kristine Alicia and Randy Mclaren.
