D’Angel Honoured With Keys to Tamarac and Broward County in Florida

Jamaican dancehall artiste D’Angel has become the latest entertainer to receive the keys to the City of Tamarac and Broward County in Florida, in recognition of her contribution to Jamaican culture.
Speaking during an interview with IRIE FM’s Music News, an emotional D’Angel expressed gratitude for the honour, noting that the achievement was not hers alone but also belonged to those who have supported her throughout her career.
The recognition places D’Angel among several Jamaican entertainers who have received similar honours in South Florida in recent months.
Among them is veteran singer Nadine Sutherland, who received the Key to the City of Tamarac in October, while reggae superstar Buju Banton was presented with keys to both Tamarac and Broward County in June.
Other entertainers recognised include dancehall veterans Beenie Man and Spragga Benz, along with Busy Signal and Wayne Wonder.
The honours acknowledge the artistes’ contributions to Jamaican music and culture, highlighting the impact of reggae and dancehall beyond the island’s shores.
D’Angel’s recognition adds another chapter to the growing list of Jamaican performers receiving civic honours in South Florida.
