Miss Universe Jamaica Contestant Recovering Well After Pageant Fall

Fresh information from the Miss Universe Organization indicates that Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, Dr Gabrielle Henry, is recovering well and preparing for discharge after collapsing during the evening gown parade, a preliminary segment of the Miss Universe Pageant in Thailand last Wednesday.

According to a recent update, Dr Henry remains in stable condition as her medical team continues monitoring her progress.

Last week, the Miss Universe Jamaica Co-National Directors disclosed that hospital staff had advised that she would need to stay in the Intensive Care Unit for at least seven days while receiving ongoing observation and specialised treatment.

Over the past four days, officials from the international organisation acknowledged that there were “difficult moments and unexpected concerns,” but expressed appreciation for the medical professionals who have handled each complication.

In addition, the Miss Universe Organisation confirmed that it has taken full financial responsibility for costs related to the incident, including lodging and transportation for Dr Henry’s relatives.

Presently, her sister, Dr Phylicia Henry-Samuels, and her mother, Maureen Henry, are by her side in Thailand.

Meanwhile, the organisation is calling on the public to avoid circulating unverified claims or speculation about what occurred, stressing that confirmed details will be issued only through official channels.
