Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport Secures Top Honour as Caribbean Airport of the Year

In a resounding victory for Sangster International Airport (SIA), the prestigious title of Caribbean Airport of the Year has been bestowed upon the aviation hub in the 10th annual Caribbean Travel Awards.

Caribbean Journal, the leading platform covering Caribbean travel, declared SIA the standout choice for the coveted accolade.

Alexander Britell, the editor-in-chief, and founder of Caribbean Journal, commended SIA’s exceptional achievements and transformation into one of the Caribbean’s premier aviation hubs.

The recognition underscored the airport’s recent makeover, which significantly enhanced the passenger experience through digital advancements, improved services, and an upgraded Food & Beverage offering, featuring the world’s first-ever Bob Marley-branded restaurant.

  

Club MoBay, considered one of the finest airport lounges in the wider Caribbean, also contributed to SIA’s success.
