Leon Bailey On Target AGAIN For Aston Villa!

Aston Villa comfortably have secured their place in the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, dominating Hibernian with a convincing 3-0 victory in the second leg of the play-off and an astonishing 8-0 aggregate scoreline.

The night belonged to the mercurial Leon Bailey, whose performance left a lasting mark on Villa Park.

After already holding a commanding 5-0 lead from the first leg in Edinburgh, Villa showcased their prowess on the European stage once more.

Bailey wasted no time in making his presence felt, as Jhon Durán found the back of the net with a brilliantly taken shot in the 11th minute, setting the stage for Villa’s dominance.

But it was Bailey who truly stole the spotlight. Just after the half-hour mark, he unleashed a left-footed strike that soared into the back of the net, leaving Hibernian’s goalkeeper, David Marshall, with no chance.

Bailey’s performance was nothing short of sensational, as he constantly threatened Hibernian’s defense and showcased his skillful dribbling and lethal finishing. His electrifying presence on the field injected life into Villa’s European ambitions.

As the second half began, Villa continued to press forward, and it was Bailey’s free-kick that led to the third goal.

Substitute Matty Cash capitalised on the rebound after Marshall couldn’t secure Bailey’s free-kick, finding the back of the net with poise and precision.

Bailey’s scoring streak for Aston Villa continues unabated, with his net-rippling contributions now spanning three consecutive matches.

His first goal came in a resounding 4-0 victory over Everton, followed by a crucial strike in the 5-0 triumph during the initial leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifiers against Hibernian, and once again, he found the back of the net in the second leg against Hibernian.

Villa Park celebrated not only the victory but also the return of European football to their home for the first time since 2010.

This remarkable win paves the way for Aston Villa to take their place in the group stage of the Europa Conference League, with fans eagerly anticipating Friday afternoon’s draw, which will determine their opponents in the upcoming stage of the competition.
