Jamaica’s Under-20 Reggae Girlz Take Early Lead in Group E with Dominant 6-0 Win Over Anguilla in Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship Qualifying

On Friday, at the Estadio Nacional De Futbol in Nicaragua, Jamaica’s Under-20 Reggae Girlz dominated Anguilla with a 6-0 win, taking an early lead in Group E of the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship qualifying.

The first half saw Jamaica leading 5-0 with goals from Davia Richards (1’), Dannique Wilson (15’), Destiny Powell (27’), Natoya Atkinson (29’), and Tiny Seaton (43’), with one additional goal in the second half.

In another Group E match at the same venue, Honduras secured a comfortable 6-1 victory over Bermuda. Meanwhile, Group A leaders Canada had the biggest win of the day with a mammoth 15-0 victory over Martinique at Estadio Panamericano.

In the other Group A game, El Salvador beat Cuba 2-1.

  

All group winners will progress to the Concacaf Under-20 Women’s Championship in The Dominican Republic, which will take place from May 24 to June 3.
