Bolt Wants to Open a Sports Clinic in Jamaica

Usain Bolt has always exhibited a willingness to help others. 

The world’s fastest man has done phenomenal things on the track but many of his endeavours off the field are worthy of emulation. 

Bolt has made several donations to his alma mater William Knibb Memorial High over the years including a coaster bus. He also has his own foundation aimed at helping out under-privileged youngsters.

Recently, the 9-time Olympic gold medallist disclosed that he is desirous of opening a sports clinic in Jamaica following his retirement from track and field.

Bolt stated to the media:

“One of the things that I’m working towards is trying to open a Sports clinic in Jamaica. That’s one thing that’s always on my mind”.

“Especially for the youth in track and field because I think injuries have always been a problem for youth coming up, and I also would like them to get better care. I also would like to stick with the track and field and stay as close as possible to track and field, so that’s one thing”.

Bolt made the statements while responding to questions during his first day on the job as Digicel’s chief speed officer, at the Digicel’s regional headquarters, downtown Kingston.
