First Time Visiting ‘Farin’ – Jamaican Girl Gets The Shock Of Her Life (VIDEO)
Many Jamaicans who have never visited the United States are still under the misconception that once they arrive there, everything will be ‘dandy’, that the streets are made of gold, everyone is nice and that money grows on trees.
One Jamaican girl received a rude awakening after visiting New York for the first time.
She decided to share her experience in a hilarious video.
14-year-old Jahzan has been performing since the age of five when she won her first prestigious JCDC speech festival competition, and she recorded the single, “Children.”
Since then, Jahzan has explored other talents in fields like gymnastics, appeared in beauty pageant competitions including “Mini Miss Jamaica” and in the print media advertisement “Broadbent Printery Add.”
Jahzan was also recognized as the best performer in the 10-14 year-old category of the U.S. Embassy Youth Poetry Slam Competition.
But Jahzan, who was homeschooled by her mother, Zandriann Maye, is best known for her role in the television series “Me and Me Kru” and “Ity and Fancy Cat Show.”
Many persons also remember her acting in top national speech and drama competitions and the awarding-winning Lasco Commercial that has ran in several Caribbean countries.
Jahzan was the lead actress in the play “Children’s National Party (CNP),” and is a model student who wants to use her gifts to inspire.”
This talented young lady certainly has a bright future ahead of her.
