Samantha Gonsalves more popularly known as Samantha J is a is a Jamaican model and singer/songwriter.
Her popularity exploded in 2013 and she quickly became known as “di girl inna di tight up skirt” with her hit single Tight Skirt which has topped international charts.
That song catapulted the young entertainer into the international mainstream.
But what has Samantha J been up to since then?
She recently sat down with Winford Williams of On Stage to share what she has been doing in recent times.
The entertainer who is currently signed to Columbia Records was told by her mother that she needed to pass her CXC’s before she could do music and she took some time to do just that.
She also revealed that she recorded about 50 songs in the past three years. Last year she released the international single called League of My Own featuring Dej Loaf.
2016 certainly seems like it will be a great year for Samantha J!
