Raheem Sterling’s Latest Clarks Originals Collab Celebrates His Jamaican Roots

Raheem Sterling, the renowned Premier League footballer born in Jamaica, has once again stepped into the world of footwear design with his latest collaboration with Clarks Originals.

This marks his third collaboration with the iconic British footwear brand, showcasing a unique and stylish high-top Wallabee silhouette designed for outdoor exploration.

The Wallabee silhouette, crafted from technical quilted nylon, boasts adjustable lace toggles and a quilted upper resembling the aesthetic of a puffer jacket.

Sterling’s Jamaican roots are intricately woven into the design, evident through thoughtful details that pay homage to the island nation. The customary branded fob features an embossed “Est 1692” typography, a symbolic nod to the year Kingston, Jamaica, was founded.

Jamaica’s rich heritage is further celebrated with the inclusion of the country’s Coat of Arms stamped on the heel counter.

The collaboration embraces earthy tones, creating a striking contrast on the grippy and durable rubber outsole.

Sterling’s Wallabee design not only epitomises style but also encapsulates the spirit of Jamaica, creating a footwear collection that is both visually appealing and culturally significant.

The collaboration is set to hit the shelves on December 1, available exclusively at Clarks Originals flagship stores in London (Berwick Street location), Osaka, Manchester, Beijing, and Tokyo.
