Search Underway for Missing 70-Year-Old Jamaican Woman at US Airport
Law enforcement authorities in the United States are currently conducting a search for a 70-year-old Jamaican woman who disappeared after arriving at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida on Monday.
Caroline Woolery-Walters had traveled from Jamaica to visit her family in Philadelphia.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Missing Persons Unit issued a statement on Wednesday, providing details about the missing woman.
According to the report, Woolery-Walters was last seen near 300 Terminal Drive at the airport at approximately 6 pm on Monday.
Detectives revealed that she was wearing a yellow head wrap, yellow shirt, and blue jeans at the time of her disappearance.
Described as a senior citizen standing at about five feet, one inch tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds, Woolery-Walters has black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities are urging anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Caroline Woolery-Walters to immediately contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or call BSO’s non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
