U23 Reggae Boyz Defeat Peru

On Sunday, Jamaica’s U23 Reggae Boyz put on a commendable display in an encounter against Peru at the Pan American Games.

The young Boyz were on the back-foot for a large portion of the first half but were resolute in defense and sharp in transition.

Jamaica’s goals both came courtesy of Deshane Beckford.

This was Jamaica’s first win at the tournament having lost their first game to Honduras (3-1) and their second game to Uruguay (2-0).

The young Boyz have already been eliminated.
