Meet Miss Universe Jamaica 2017
On Saturday – August 26, Davina Bennett was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
Bennett bested 16 other girls who were also vying for the title, and the coveted opportunity to represent Jamaica at the Miss Universe pageant.
She won three sectional prizes – Miss Universe Jamaica Runway Star and Miss Universe Jamaica’s Altruism Award and the Gleaner Online’s Social Media Award.
The 21-year-old has already launched the Davina Bennett Foundation for the Deaf, and is promoting a mobile app designed to teach sign language.
