Trelawny Pastor Charged With 5 Counts of Buggery
A Trelawny pastor is now reportedly behind bars after being charged for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old member of his church.
He has been charged with five counts of buggery, five counts of gross indecent assault and five counts of grievous sexual assault.
An investigator with intimate knowledge of the probe reportedly stated that the sexual abuses allegedly took place sometime between last year and early this year.
“The complaint reported that the abuses we’re carried out over a period of time between last year and February,” the police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity because of not being authorized to speak to the media.
The pastor was subsequently arrested and charged on Friday and is to face the court this week.
The teenager was allegedly baptised by said pastor.
