Fraser-Pryce Named as Jamaica’s Flag Bearer at Rio Olympics
Two time Olympic 100m gold medallist, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been named as Jamaica’s flag bearer ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games.
The 29-year-old will be aiming to become the first person to win three consecutive Olympic 100m titles, just one day before Usain Bolt attempts the same feat.
Fraser-Pryce has however been plagued by a nagging season long toe injury and has not been at her absolute best recently.
