What Jamaica Looked Like 100 Years Ago! – (Video)
Time travel is something many of us have dreamed about at some point in our lives.
If you had the opportunity to travel back in time and see Jamaica as it was 100 years ago would you take it?
Fortunately we can still see portions of Jamaica as it was back then thanks to rare recordings such as the one below.
It is quite remarkable how different the landscape was.
This is possibly one of the oldest motion picture films showcasing our island.

amazing
Yes i like the footage, and our Island had lot of agriculture but our people worked very hard to make it what it is today. the only thing some of our young people should see the length of the clothes that is worn now and
trousers were worn up to the waist and not showing dirty drawes.
Very interesting and informative..
great

Very informative and educational!!
This is PRICELESS!! Showing a bygone era and the main Montego Bay to Kingston railway line. It is amazing that though the scenes have changed, I can still recognize many areas like Montpelier, the descent from Ipswich into Maggotty (Appleton Estate), the Balaclava region, Porus and the plains of Clarendon and St. Catherine.
Thanks for shearing. Very educational

Great video.. Thank you
Women were back then with the their long dresses and bandanas still carried their burdens so skifully on their heads
A nice reminder that my Dad was superintendent of the railroads
wish we knew exactly where in mo bay or where we passed through while on the train!
Wow. …time waits on no one. ..
